An afternoon with the Bradshaws

The anticipation I felt going to Emma's home was a little like walking onto a movie set, as I've adored the glimpses of Emma's every day life on her blog - and now I was going to experience it for real!

Emma is expecting another little boy imminently, so this was a wonderful opportunity of capturing the Bradshaws together in one of the last days of being a family of 4.   However, like most best laid plans, they never quite run as smooth, and this afternoon was no exception.   Little Ted was feeling poorly from the outset, and throw into the mix a typical British day with not a glimmer of sunlight and a fog that didn't lift, I was a little worried I would not be able to capture the spirit of the Bradshaws as I had hoped.

Thankfully the beauty of a family is not about good weather; and even though Ted was not feeling 100%, the laughter and energy (and boy, have young boys got some energy!) was there is spades.
